1. This website does not use cookies and does not collect, store, or share any data.
If you watch one of our YouTube videos (owned by Google) or use Google Maps to find us, be aware that they will set cookies on your device. They do not share any of your data with us. You can read their Privacy Policy here.
2. Bill Gavins, Sonia Gavins and Dan Gavins are both the 'Controllers and Processors' of all personal data. We do not share your personal details with anyone. The only details we hold are the minimum we need to provide our boxing gym facilities to you and is freely given by you. In this Privacy Policy we provide information on when and why we need ask for some of your personal information, how we use it and how we keep it secure.
3. If you contact us by email then you will be sending some personal data to enable us to reply to your message. ie: your personal email address, your first name and your message to us. We will only use this to be able to reply to your message and it will only be kept until our messaging is finished, when all your messages and contact details will then be deleted.
4. If you phone us and leave a message on our answer machine, that message will be listened to, a call back made if necessary, the message will then be deleted.
5. For legal reasons, our insurance company requires us to ask a few basic details of all new visitors to our gym. ie: Name, Age, Address, Contact Number and whether you have any health issues that we should know about before commencing training. We will complete this simple form and ask for your signature. For any members under 16 years of age we require a contact number in case of emergency. This written record is not digitised and will be kept securely in a locked filing cabinet & will be shredded 1 year after you finish boxing training with us.
6. Once a year we hold a 'Charity Event' and anyone wishing to enter will be asked for some extra personal information when they complete the form on the 'Charity Boxing' page. ie: Age and Weight. This data will be printed off and kept so as to enable us to put together the various bouts based on Age & Weight. After the event this data is then shredded before disposal.
7. If any of the personal information you have provided changes, then please inform us on your next visit so we can amend your data. Don't put any personal information in an email, other than change of email address which obviously comes through on an email anyway.
8. You have the right to ask to see your personal data at any time. This is best done when you visit to the gym or we can post out to you. We may require some proof of identification for your own security.
9. You have the right to ask for your personal information to be deleted at any time. Either visit the gym or send an email with the message "Please Delete And Shred All My Personal Data"
